NOBODHONI নব ধ্বনি — "a new resonance"
Boatmen's songs from the Bengal delta, run through electric strings and analogue synths. Five musicians, one river of sound.
Our story
We grew up on songs sung by boatmen crossing the Padma at dusk — one-string ektaras, and voices built to carry over water.
Nobodhoni started as a question: what happens if those same melodies meet a drum machine? Five years and three delta towns later, we're still finding out.
